These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pravasi website and its calculators (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Pravasi is a free set of calculators and guides for people relocating from India to the Netherlands — covering salary and Dutch tax, the 30% ruling, city comparisons, housing, budgeting, remittance, and a moving checklist. Every result is an estimate based on publicly available data and assumptions that may not reflect your specific situation.
Tax rules, the 30% ruling, immigration requirements, mortgage rules, exchange rates, and housing market conditions change frequently and depend on individual circumstances. Pravasi does not provide financial, tax, legal, or immigration advice, and no result from the Service creates an advisor relationship. Before making decisions with financial or legal consequences, consult a qualified professional such as a Dutch tax adviser, immigration lawyer, or mortgage adviser. You are responsible for verifying any figure before you rely on it.
You can use the calculators without an account. If you choose to create one, sign in is by a one-time “magic link” sent to your email — there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, and for activity that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from your account page.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We may suspend or remove access if the Service is misused in a way that harms Pravasi or other users.
Pravasi’s remittance page includes an affiliate link to Wise. The link is labelled as an affiliate link on that page. If you open an account through that link, Pravasi may earn a referral commission at no extra cost to you. We include it because we believe it is genuinely useful, but its presence is not an endorsement of any particular financial decision, and you should evaluate any service on its own merits.
The Pravasi name, design, written guides, and calculators are owned by Shaunak Nitin Sabnis, the individual operator of pravasi.app. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial relocation planning. All other rights are reserved.
The Service is provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data it relies on is current. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pravasi and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or reliance-based loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any decisions made on the basis of its estimates, calculations, or guides. This limitation applies regardless of the legal basis of the claim and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. We will give advance notice of significant changes — for example, by showing a notice on the site — before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state or in another country, you also retain the full protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply in your country of residence. Nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your country of residence where required by applicable local law.
